Óscares #1 - O Cartaz
Mostrando que nem só de imagens vive o cinema, a Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas de Hollywood criou para a gala deste ano da entrega dos Óscares, um cartaz que exalta as frases que ficaram mais célebres (há quem sinta algumas omissões) na história do cinema.Desde “Rosebud” a “I’m the king of the world!” e algumas das mais memoraveis frases algumas vez pronunciadas nos ecrans de cinema partilham o palco este ano com a estatueta do Óscar numa cartaz de This 27x40 que pode ser comprado on-line no site da Academia ($25.00 + $15 para envios internacionais)
Entre as dezenas de conceitos apresentados este foi o que mais se destacou. Segundo Sid Ganis, presidente da Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas de Hollywood, pensou-se a principio que apenas seriam incluídas frases de filmes premiados com Óscars, mas decidiu-se alargar a selecção aos nomeados para Melhor Filme, Argumento ou ambos, entre 1936 e 2005.
Serão distribuídos 65 mil exemplares do poster a nível mundial, que pode também ser adquirido no site oficial da Academia. Os argumentistas sobreviventes das frases escolhidas irão recebê-lo com uma nota pessoal do presidente da organização, em jeito de agradecimento pela sua contribuição.
As nomeações para a 79.ª Cerimónia dos Oscars serão conhecidas a 23 de Janeiro.
